Located 12 miles north of McCall, A hillside cabin situated above Meadow Creek Golf Course offers scenic views of the Meadows Valley from its decks on two levels. This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin has a six person hot tub on site along with plenty of parking for a trailer and a few cars or pickups.
Be sitting on the ski lift at Brundage Mountain within 20 minutes after you leave the house and buy your lift ticket. If you’ve been to Brundage Mountain, you know its reputation as one of the best Idaho ski resorts is deserved for the best snow in Idaho with an incredible variety of terrain. 46 named trails are easy to sample but it’s the countless glades and snowfields that set Brundage apart. It could be the lack of crowds, the powder-packed glades between the named runs, or the endless options for exploring the lift-served backcountry on your own or with the help of our expert backcountry guides. Relax after skiing at Zims Hot Springs resort located 2 miles north of the house. Zims has one hot soak pool and one large pool with a 9-foot deep end.
Meadow Creek Golf Resort is situated at 3,868 feet above sea level in the pine-forested Meadows Valley, West Central Idaho, close to McCall and Payette Lake. The alpine peaks of Granite Mountain and Brundage Mountain Ski Area reach skyward more than 7,000 feet to the east. The golf course weaves in and out of the pine trees and across the verdant meadows offering changing scenery and stimulating golf at every turn.
In the winter months there’s groomed cross-country ski trails, snow-shoeing and sledding as well as access to the back-country for snow-mobile excursions and a short drive to Brundage Mountain for downhill skiing enthusiasts.
Riggins, Idaho, only 30 miles to the north, offers whitewater rafting and kayaking with action-packed, heart-pounding whitewater sections for the adventurous type and calmer sections for the thrill-tempered-traveler; Idaho’s Salmon River near Riggins is arguably the top river the United States.
The Salmon River also delivers Idaho fishing at its best for Steelhead, Chinook Salmon, Bass, Trout and Sturgeon. Abundant chucker hunting exists as well.
In April, plan on attending the Salmon River Jet Boat Races. Race teams from Canada and the United States will be competing for not only Cash Prize Awards, but bragging rights from racing the River of No Return which is the longest running river Jet Boat Race in the U.S.A.
Don’t miss the wild, festive, and popular Riggins Rodeo held in May. The traditional parade delights those of all ages which starts at the Riggins City Park and runs through Main Street.
